What is a library?

Relatable tales all placed on relatable shelves.

In chapters in books we can find ourselves,

A place of knowledge, a place of peace,

Where stories are written in every crease.

A word of meaning, a word worth writing.

A word who many can seek delight in.

We seek to learn and gain the knowledge,

From simple childhood to our years at college.

We read for pleasure in troubled times,

Some gain inspiration from simple rhymes,

This place occupied with shelves and sagas,

Can be filled with inspiring books we can carve as

Our own. But all are placed on dusty bookcases,

In which a strangers footsteps paces

along the carpeted patterned floor,

Aiming to gain a knowledge so pure,

So all these tales and all these fictions,

Are a representation of humanities frictions,

For we are but simply books ourselves,

Relatable tales all placed on relatable shelves.
